  Your Impact:

  Jacobs is hiring a Program Manager responsible for the US Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) Strategic Mission Support (SMS) program.

  Program Mission:

  This opportunity centers around the US Army Southern European Task Force, Africa Strategic Missions Support. The primary aim is to bolster SETAF-AF’s operations, ensuring they can effectively synchronize Army Activities in Africa and offer scalable crisis-response options in both Africa and Europe. This encompasses a comprehensive suite of services including intelligence, operations, exercise, security cooperation, logistics, information technology, financial and budget planning, knowledge management, and multimedia support.

  This position is CONTINGENT upon contract award, the expected award date is in beginning of 2025. Our recruiting team will follow up with you on your application and will be starting the interview evaluation process immediately.

  Full time role will be located in Vicenza, Italy.

  Here’s What You’ll Need:

  Required Qualifications:

  Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of Defense experience in business planning and/or project management with program (s) of similar size and scope; with experience in European and African theaters.

  Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DOD (Department of Defense) Secret clearance.

  Demonstrated people leadership skills with the ability to assemble and lead teams.

  Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

  Ability to travel and manage travel within EUCOM and AFRICOM AOR.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience on a senior staff leading distributed teams across varying geographic locations.

  Experience managing security cooperations.

  The base salary range for this position is $170k to $200k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For “remote” positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent. ​
