Qualcomm's Mixed-Signal & Power Management Team designs analog, mixed-signal, and power management IPs and ICs for mobile, automotive, compute, wearable, and XR applications. These designs include analog IPs and mixed-signal ICs such as data converters (ADCs/DACs), PLLs, analog filters, power amplifiers, power management IPs and ICs such as linear and switch voltage regulators, battery chargers, and user interface circuits, with the focus on high linearity, low noise, and high power efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Apply your analog/mixed-signal design and verification expertise to the development of mobile communication systems and wired peripherals. Circuits of interest are: ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, Buck/Boost converters, Class-D power amplifiers, continuous time and switched-cap filters, voltage regulators and precision references, ranging from low voltage and low power CMOS design techniques in nanometer technologies to high power BCD process technologies. Candidate is also expected to be involved in IP and IC system designs, analog and mixed-signal layout, modeling and verification tasks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
. PhD in electrical engineering and with circuit and system background
· Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with 2+ years, OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience with analog, mixed-signal, or power management IC design, experience with chip tape out and post silicon testing a plus
· Candidates are also expected to be familiar with design tools (e.g., CADENCE, SPICE, MATLAB, and/or Verilog/VHDL).
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS+5 Years
Strong troubleshooting skills across embedded systems disciplines (digital RTL, Firmware, analog behavioral models)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Strong process-oriented mindset.
Expert-level System Verilog Programming
Advanced UVM/SV (Universal Verification Methodology using System Verilog)
Python or Perl scripting
