About Senior Test Development Engineer

  We are looking for a highly motivated senior test development engineer who enjoys working in a significant and exciting environment. Would you like to see your hard work transform into groundbreaking automotive technology that will change the world? Come join our team! We are seeking a Software Quality Test Development Engineer to develop and implement exploratory and automated tests which ensure highest product standards across NVIDIA’s automotive software stack. The position requires crafting and authoring test cases and applications as well as related procedure and process documentation.

  What you will be doing:

  Identify and implement test cases for features during the software development and implementation.

  Complete daily regression testing on automotive platforms to ensure quality and stability.

  Review and provide recommendations on product feature requirements, specifications and technical design documents.

  Craft detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.

  Build test scripts and applications that will be used in NVIDIA’s automated test framework.

  What we need to see:

  BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

  5+ years of relevant work experience.

  Proven ability able to write logical code from scratch, preferably in Python.

  Strong experience with Linux and/or QNX.

  Experience using source control systems such as Git and Perforce.

  Familiar working in a shell environment.

  Good hardware, software & operating system fundamentals

  Ability to work hands-on with embedded computer hardware, like cameras and other sensors.

  Good interpersonal and communication skills

  Strong analytical skills.

  Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  Background in test infrastructure and analysis skills required.

  C/C++ coding at software API and application level.

  Knowledge of other embedded operating systems, like Android Auto.

  PC Graphics and/or multimedia test experience.

  Experience in using tools like Jira and Jama.

  The base salary range is 128,000 USD - 247,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
