The Robotics Sortation Program team is seeking a customer obsessed and motivated Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) to manage retrofit design programs. Initially, this role will focus on delivery of in flight programs but will pulled into programs as early as the concept phase for next generation Robotics Operations Solutions. The Sr. TPM provides operational and analytical leadership while connecting multi-disciplinary teams building systems-of-systems warehouse automation. This role requires work across technical teams in Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, and Program/Product Management, as well as downstream execution teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Deployment Engineering to implement efficient collaboration and scaling mechanisms and support Amazon Robotics’ growth. You will lead improvements to our design and installation processes, tools, and methods of communication to ensure higher quality outcomes in shorter amounts of time. You will connect teams in Hardware, Supply Chain, and Finance with regional Program Managers to improve execution efficiency as Amazon Robotics Solutions scale and expand globally.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the effective and efficient delivery of complex sortation solutions in brownfield environments, working across all engineering disciplines.
Interact with key stakeholders to define and deliver against project goals, including both technical and operational deliverables
Collaborate cross functionally to support extensible solution development and integration. An ideal candidate has experience with complex system design, including experience integrating hardware and software deliverables and delivering brownfield retrofit solutions
Drive consensus on technical decisions and ensure the appropriate resources are employed to deliver high quality results
Lead the development and decomposition of comprehensive functional requirements & specifications, partnering with Product Management and Systems Engineering.
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at the program level
Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
Deliver programs across all engineering disciplines including Hardware, Software, Solutions, Regulatory Compliance, System QA, and Deployment.
Partner with groups external to the Sortation Team to successfully deliver on project goals
Triage, prioritize, and execute against incoming requests from the field or partner teams

The Robotic Sortation team is a new business vertical within Amazon Robotics. Our focus is to improve the efficiency at which packages are sorted throughout the Amazon network. We deliver solutions that can scale quickly, improves safety for associates, and reduces cost. Being an internal team, we have an opportunity to ensure our solutions add true value in the network while delivering the flexibility Amazon needs to continue to excel in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
