As the Senior Staff Manufacturing Engineer, you will support manufacturing of medical device products that create life-changing solutions that enable people to live more active, fulfilling lives.

What you will do:
As the Senior Staff Manufacturing Engineer, you will design, develop, and validate manufacturing processes for continuous improvement and insourcing projects. You will design, programing and optimizing process settings, plan and tracking process validation plans, equipment qualification, design transfer, and production hand off.
You will support production with machine and process trouble shooting, work with CNC equipment, write work instructions and bill of materials for designed parts and assemblies.
Contribute and input into Engineering functional strategyChampion operations excellence across the site.Benchmark best practices across the Stryker networkPlans and conducts engineering research designPlans and conducts significant engineering and lean initiativesStandardizes and optimizes best practices and procedures across the network.Coordinates with other unit's vendors and senior managers as needed to ensure specific cost, time and regulatory standards are met.Communicates with business partners to resolve process and product issues.Evaluates the results of projects and provides manufacturing guidance and assistance as requiredProvide support to Process Development / Advanced Operations on technology development and application within the manufacturing process.Technical leadership of Staff engineers, senior engineers, Engineers, , Technicians and operators as required.Champion lean from an operations engineering perspective
Minimum qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering6+ years of applicable experience
Preferred qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma CertificationNew Product DevelopmentLeading projectsCNC programming experience
