Title and Summary
Senior Specialist, Product Management - Strategy
The Senior Specialist, Product Management will be a member of the North American (NAM) Small Business Segment team which is responsible for advancing Mastercard's small business efforts throughout the United States and Canada.
The NAM Small Business team supports small business owners as well as our partners through a holistic needs-based, customer-centric approach. We are a highly cross-functional team that is focused on growing our footprint in the space and providing our customers with best-in-class solutions and thought leadership to help them better serve their small business cardholders. This role will support the strategy development and execution needs of the team across the three pillars of Core Product (Small Business Credit, Debit, and Prepaid), Access to Capital (Open Banking for Business, Digital Doors) and Strategy.
Role:
• Support the development and maintenance of the overarching SMB strategy for North America.
• Support strategic initiatives identified and prioritized throughout the year. This could range from research, business case development, strategy development, and strategy execution.
• Support analyses and research to inform product development, benefit selection, and investment, Support the proactive identification of optimization opportunities through qualitative analyses and work with product and cross-functional partners (e.g., account teams, solution architects) to influence prioritization of optimization initiatives.
• Support the cardholder segmentation work and inform new product development and/or strategy evolution.
• Support analysis of business growth through regular performance deep dives at the product and customer levels.
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative research and collaborate with the cross-functional business units across Mastercard to develop narratives for key strategic initiatives.
• Present the findings and strategy to executive leadership.
• Participate in forward looking strategy conversations/workshops.

• Knowledge of (and passion for) the small business space is a plus.
