Overview
Senior Analyst, D&S Segments Solutions is a key support role in the global Segments function within Strategy, Integration and Product Development in D&S. Segments provide the strategic direction for vision, products and capabilities to meet market, competitive, and client partner needs and act as a customer-first steward for our business.
Role
In this role, you will be part of a team driving our segments strategy forward across all segments by consistently innovating, problem solving, and partnering across business lines.
The Segments Solution role works across Segments to develop and implement strategies, partner in go to market activities, promote stronger collaboration within D&S (including Business Development, Global Product Management, NPD and Insights & Enablement teams) and support partnership planning and execution with the broader Mastercard organization focused on segment-driven products, sales and marketing.
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering data-driven, customer-focused analysis, is highly motivated, intellectually curious, solutions-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. Additionally, the ideal candidate is well known for building strong relationships and delivering projects to flawless completion.
Responsibilities:
• Support cross-Segments strategic activities to support D&S's key objective in diversifying relevance and revenues in multiple industries
• Aid in aligning global segment strategies with product teams and regional planning / GTM activities
• Help lead key initiatives in multi-segment solution developments
• Help develop "brand" for Segments, driving communications across multiple channels and audiences in partnership with Marketing, Comms and in-market colleagues
• Lead key interactions with Finance and Insights & Enablement teams to design and leverage KPIs to support growth of business
All About You:
• Experience with formulating, implementing and enhancing corporate strategic initiatives and business plans
• Support on complex strategic initiatives, facilitating, influencing and contributing to design and advancement
• Strong analytic skills, from complex data sets to interpretation of qualitative themes and inputs into compelling insights
• Ability to influence in matrixed and distributed (global/regional/market) organizations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to probe to understand stakeholder needs
• Comfortable balancing multiple projects simultaneously, with diverse roles and stakeholder relationships
• Ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally
