  Position Description:

  Builds end-to-end Machine Learning (ML) pipelines in an Agile environment using Agile methodologies - Kanban and SCRUM. Designs, builds, and maintains operational and analytical capabilities. Collaborates with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to deliver best in class Artificial Intelligence (AI) products. Delivers system automation by setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/CD). Builds and deploys applications in a Amazon Web Services (AWS) and DevOps environment, using CI/CD tools - Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, and Docker to deploy applications. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Performs data analysis, cleansing, and exploration.Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.Creates CI/CD pipelines for deployment.

  Education and Experience:

  Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) working on analytical platforms on AWS in a financial services environment.

  Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) working on analytical platforms on AWS in a financial services environment.

  Skills and Knowledge:

  Candidate must also possess:

  Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") building and maintaining data pipelines to deploy and run AI and ML models to generate personalized next best actions and content recommendations using AWS Sagemaker and related AI/ML platform offerings; and using object-oriented programming language - Python.DE conducting data analysis, data cleaning, and data exploration of financial data related to mutual funds and securities; engaging with business partners to identify data needs; and using machine learning models to prepare financial data.DE innovating solutions and creating Cloud-based, event-driven and streaming architectures for high throughput, low-latency, highly available, and fault tolerant systems according to Agile/Scrum development methodologies using AWS infrastructure services within an investment management and financial services environment.DE automating infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management using AWS CloudFormation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Azure DevOps pipelines, Jenkins, uDeploy, and Git.

  Salary: $115,000.00 - $127,500.00/year.
