　　TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

　　Location: 1130 Sanctuary Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009; Telecommuting permissible from any location in the U.S.

　　Salary Range: $114,548 /yr - $136,849 /yr

　　Job Description: Provide technical guidance and mentor developers to support them through simple to complex projects. Act as Subject Matter Expert for company's claims processing custom engine. Design and develop software for the company's custom claims processing system. Maintain and enhance code based on requirements. Work with Senior Business Analysts and business to design, code, unit test, and implement changes in a timely manner. Collaborate across teams. Interpret business requirements to derive technical solutions via systems analysis, design, and prototyping. Determine best business/technical solutions and propose solutions to meet client needs, ensuring the ability to meet users' implementation time frames. Translate functional specifications into technical designs. Develop new/modify existing data models and/or application logic in order to implement new business processes or to correct/enhance existing applications. Design and develop Java components and/or ADF Task flows for user tasks in a business process and integrate with web services and business components. Design and develop Java/Spring-based web microservices. Deploy Java components and/or ADF applications to Oracle WebLogic Server 11g. Deploy Java-based microservices to on premise and MS Azure infrastructure. Develop applications using Oracle JDeveloper 11g and ADF (Application Development Framework). Assist release engineering and release management in supporting production implementations. Follow change management processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking, and release management. Follow System Development Lifecycle as defined by Project Management Office. Participate in on-call install support once every two (2) weeks. Telecommuting permissible from any location in the U.S.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Designing and developing on C and C++ on Unix, Linux; Debugging tools on GDB and WDB; Developing simple to moderately complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages in an Oracle or SQL server database; Unix Shell Scripting, Perl Scripting; SOAP, JSP, Python, Spring Boot, Microservices; Pro*C or Embedded C and SQL code; Developing and supporting the legacy applications; Core Java and Java Swing; and Unix/Linux IDE: Putty or vi-edit.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

　　Base Pay Information

　　The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $114,548 - $136,849
