One of Kforce's Fortune 500 clients located in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join their team. The incumbent must be open to working a hybrid schedule.Summary:The Senior Scrum Master will act as a leader and be responsible for helping the team perform at their highest level. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching, guiding, and leading an Agile team. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, facilitate all scrum events & coordinate cross team dependencies.Essential Responsibilities: Senior Scrum Master will serve as a subject matter expert and coach their team(s) on Agile values and practices Identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations As a Senior Scrum Master, you will promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity, and innovation Promote an environment of continuous improvement Ensure team(s) meet commitments to delivery based on velocity Senior Scrum Master aligns team to delivery goals and processes Facilitate meetings and discussions Address impediments to team success Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release goals Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiating information Work autonomously and influence team behaviors and practices based on Agile process Actively looks for feedback on performance Recognize opportunities for teams and individual improvement and provide recommendations including individual performance concerns Work collaboratively with all levels of management and teams
Requirements
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university, preferred Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification preferred 4+ years of relevant experience working with teams as a Scrum Master or equivalent role Verifiable knowledge of Agile practices and Agile methodologies Knowledge and ability to handle conflict resolution Strong oral and written communication skills Professional demeanor and appearance Ability to work in fast paced environment Ability to influence change and foster a positive work environment Experience as a project manager and PMP certification a plus Experience with Program Increment planning is a plus Financial services experience is highly desired
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
