Who are the GO-Tech team
GO-Tech (Global Operations Technologies) are part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Technology group and are responsible for the tech needed to run physical operations, globally. Their area of focus is around four main pillars:

This role covers all areas of the GO-Tech portfolio, globally. Therefore this covers stakeholders and sites in US, UK and Japan. The newly formed Financial Reporting Team is to become a central resource pool and centre of excellence for all things reporting and data analytics within GO-Tech.
The Role
As Sr Reporting Developer for the global technology portfolios within GO-Tech, you will be key in creating, developing, and maintaining informative reports and dashboards across the entire application portfolio. You will be the data subject matter expert and hold in-depth knowledge of the data content and structure of the application data. In addition, you will advise and recommend on the most efficient methods for extracting and presenting the data in order to fulfill the full spectrum of business requirements.
This is a hands-on reporting developer role which is spread across a wide variety of project applications and scenarios. The role requires strong data analytics and problem solving skills in order to provide accurate, informative information and reports in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities
Functional expert, responsible for developing and delivering informative business reports and dashboards to support strategic business decision makingData analysis and problem solving in order to support the delivery of key project enhancements or new application deploymentsData analysis to support key project activities such as gap analysis, impact analysis, business process transformation and enhancementData analysis and problem solving in order to support root cause analysis of critical business issuesResponsible for supporting and participating in project delivery through contribution to requirements gathering, design workshops, testing, data validation and supporting end-user acceptance testingIdentify improvement opportunities and contribute to project road-mappingWork with the business teams to identify key capability needs and identify potential challenges in realizing theseMaintain excellent stakeholder management skills and sustainment of outstanding business partner relationshipsCollaborates with technical resources and provide input to technical design specificationsLiaises with internal & external technology teams, to ensure agreed business system features are properly implemented
Prior Experience
Proven prior experience of data analytics and report/dashboard development using Tableau and SQL is essential. You will have prior experience with authoring and publishing Tableau dashboards. In addition, prior experience of business processes and data analytics associated with ticketing, retail, website and eCommerce applications is highly desirable. Prior experience in multi-geography implementations is required, due to the global and diverse nature of our portfolio. Strong experience in any of the following will be considered advantageous:
Experience of Power BI or other reporting toolsUnderstanding of data lake structuresJoining tables in Tableau or writing to Stored ProceduresUnderstanding of different SQL databasesExperience and understanding of applications associated with physical securityKnowledge of facilities and building management applicationsKnowledge of HR, time and attendance systems
About You
Being highly numerical, curious and passionate about data you will have in-depth knowledge of Tableau or any other enterprise level reporting application.
You will have excellent SQL knowledge and be able to develop queries in order to analyze and extract key business metrics from the application data. You will be comfortable engaging and supporting various business units including Finance, Visitor Experience, Retail Operations, Studio Operations, Security, Facilities and Marketing, across the GO-Tech portfolio.
As a logical thinker you will be able to perform detailed data analysis in order to support strategic business decision making and problem solving. You will also be comfortable in presenting and articulating data analysis methods used and the resulting insights. As a team player, you will have the flexibility and availability of collaborating with colleagues from different time zones across the project, support, and business teams. Standard working hours from 10:00 to 18:00

Education & Qualifications
Undergraduate degree - preferredTableau certification (or similar) -- desirableExcellent English written and verbal communication skills is a must
