About Senior Portfolio Management

The Senior IT Portfolio Management Professional collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand. The Senior IT Portfolio Management Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior IT Portfolio Management Professional organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT Strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets, changes schedules and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

In this role, you will:

Support the discipline of portfolio planning and management for project selection and execution in TechStrat towards agreed upon milestones

Collaborate with leadership teams across the TechStrat organization and IT Finance

Follow Portfolio Management standards and processes, and ensure timely performance of its tasks and activities

Support an annual technology strategy and budget planning calendar process that is in synch with the corporate budgeting process, enabling multiple technology teams to plan together

Document project and portfolio data and perform analysis on a regular basis to ensure completeness and accuracy of information by partnering with technology leaders, project managers and teams

Be accountable to support multiple IT teams to provide ongoing planning of spending and staffing needs across multiple initiatives

Ensure all Program/Project data is maintained, accessible and useful to various stakeholders and customers

Support the production of executive dashboard reports related to budgetary, resource and strategic planning activities

Required Qualifications

You must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.

Bachelor's degree in IT, business, finance, project management

10+ years of experience in Program/Project and Portfolio management

10+ years working with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

5+ years of experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports

Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation

Professional image and excellent communication skills required

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other advanced degree

PMP Certification

Six Sigma certification

Experience in problem analysis and process

Work-At-Home Requirements

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$104,800 - $144,300 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
