Responsibilities:
Test execution experience, familiarity and ability to navigate throughout WorkdayData entry skill within WorkdayADP SmartCompliance knowledgeUpload tax documents onto SmartCompliance portal (such as agency notifications, POA paperwork, etc)Research and complete Tax Filing RejectionsWork with ADP on correcting Periodic errors/rejectsComplete POA's when neededResearch, Submit and Balance Amendments as neededWorkday reporting familiarity, payroll controls/validationsBalancing weekly, quarterly and annual tax jurisdiction, processings and filingsWeekly Auditing of tax electionsAuditing payroll processing resultsBalancing W-2'sCreating W-2c'sAnalyze documentsMaintaining logs/recordsMoving money when needed between jurisdictionsResearching inquiriesCompletion of ad hoc projects and tasks, as requiredSetting up, updating or closing tax jurisdictions on SmartComplianceSetting up, updating or inactivating jurisdictions in WorkdayCommunicate with tax jurisdiction to obtain account numbers needed for state, sui, localsResponding to HR or employee inquiries on the HR Central portalParticipate in internal and external audits when requestedPerform several advanced excel calculations in order to assist with required balancing after each weekly/biweekly payroll processing to ensure taxation is set up correctly within Workday
Requirements:
Excellent Excel skillsAttention to detail & problem solving skillsSystems experience, preferably Workday and ADP SmartComplianceGood time management and prioritization skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsProven payroll experiencePayroll or Accounting Qualification is desirable but not requiredNormally requires an Associate's Degree or 5-7 years of experience.
