Job Description
This position will be responsible to collaborate with design, architect, implementation plan, integration, deployment and troubleshooting for network security solutions required for access control.
You will work closely with technical and non-technical teams within the organization to facilitate the design and implementation of multidisciplinary solutions, drive automation initiatives, monitor, fine tune and maintain the service reliability.
Responsibilities
· Build and deploy modern network designs translated from user stories and requirements. Manage the system lifecycle from implementation to shut down and decommissioning.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during implementation and daily operations, including failures, connectivity problems, and performance issues.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design & implement scalable and robust network architecture.
· Evaluate and recommend solutions and tools to enhance network efficiency, security, and productivity.
· Provide technical leadership on complex systems and mentorship for other team members and colleagues.
· Implement and enforce security best practices to protect networks, data, and infrastructure against unauthorized access, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.
Create and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases for system documentation, including standard operating procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides, to support end-users' ability to use the networks effectively.
Skills and Requirements
Experience required
· Strong knowledge of modern network principles such as SDN, NFV, ZTNA
· Expertise in network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
· Strong experience with network security technologies and protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, prevention systems, VPNs, and network access control services.
· Experience with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
· Strong Experience with network automation technics and CI/CD
· Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines (NIST, ISO, SOX)
· Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an integral member of an agile team
· Experience with observability tooling including logging infrastructure, tracing systems, alert definitions, etc.
· Proficient communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organization skills
· Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines
Qualifications
· BS/BA or equivalent work experience
· 8+ years of experience in Network operations and engineering, network security or a similar role.
· Experience on Hashicorp(r) Boundary and Terraform products.
Strong proficiency in automation and scripting languages. null
