　　Education & Experience: 

　　Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years of work experience in a design engineering related role

　　Experience working in precision automation, OEM aerospace -- familiar with automated / robotic manufacturing cells and/or processes

　　Demonstrates strong understanding of machine build and commissioning process, operator ergonomics, and designing for manufacturing.

　　Experience designing weldments and machine prints; understanding of liner guide, ball screw, rack design

　　Mechanical design experience using SolidWorks (Catia V5)

　　Experience should include work in one or more of the following areas:

　　Automated systems such as machine tools or robotic cells

　　Aerospace manufacturing industry

　　Assembly fixtures, jigs, tools

　　Manufacturing applications with thermoset or thermoplastic composite materials; i.e. Tape Laying (ATL), Automated Fiber Placement (AFP)

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Support sales efforts by working directly with sales engineers and/or sales manager to create design concepts based on customer specifications, utilizing existing products as a reference where possible

　　Become technically proficient in current and future product offerings (i.e., automated drilling and fastening equipment, composites manufacturing, etc.)

　　Identify possible derivative products and solutions to help expand our current offerings
