What you'll do...
Senior Manager, Store Space Design

What you'll do
Develops new design solutions and the adaptation of existing store designs by interpreting business strategies presented from key stakeholders (for example, Merchandising, Operations, Realty);Creating design solutions based on new ideas; generating design solutions that drive sales, profitability, and reduce expenses and removing or enhancing solutions that are detrimental to the business; coordinating the development of new ideasLeading design sessionsEnhancing the customer experience through consideration of customer needs and expectations; maximizing operational efficiencies and space allocationCollaborating across various areas of the company (for example, Merchandising, Realty, Marketing, Operations).Develops and maintains design guidelines and frameworks for the team by creating consistent language and communication for project requirements; ensuring the project requirements fit design guidelines; and developing design project requirements.Ensures successful project implementation for a strategic business unit by reviewing design plans; monitoring the implementation within store pilots; ensuring business requirements are met; ensuring design guidelines are followed; identifying opportunities; recommending improvements; and approving implementation to scale design.Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in drafting technology, computer aided drafting, drafting and design technology, architectural design, or related field and 2 years experience in retail store design or related field OR 4 years experience in retail store design or related field.
