Position Description:
Conducts organizational studies and evaluations, designs systems and procedures, conducts work simplification and measurement studies, and prepares operations and procedures manuals. Performs end-to-end business acceptance testing and ensures the traceability of test cases. Defines epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Facilitates story grooming and refinement sessions, and demonstrates sprint deliverables. Identifies and documents business requirements, current and future states, and provides constructive feedback for future process improvements. Leads daily Scrums, release and sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages workflow design, data analysis and visualization, and impact analysis. Communicates client issues and feedback with the team and resolves issues in a timely manner.Gathers and organizes information on problems and procedures. Ensures successful functioning of newly implemented systems and procedures. Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions and alternative methods of proceeding.Documents findings of study and prepares recommendations for the implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Establishes consistent cross channel experiences for customers. Advises product and marketing teams to achieve higher levels of client engagement. Supports client facing associates and clients directly with personalization matters.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Systems Engineering and Management, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Platform Product Management (or closely related occupation) making data-driven decisions and recommendations using advanced PL/SQL queries within an eCommerce or financial services industry.
Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Systems Engineering and Management, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Platform Product Management (or closely related occupation) making data-driven decisions and recommendations using advanced PL/SQL queries within an eCommerce or financial services industry.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") accessing data warehouses and cubes using advanced PL/SQL queries; extracting and analyzing more than 20 terabytes of data for anomalies (missing or redundant files) using ETL; and monitoring and analyzing system post-release performance to identify bugs, and triage and improve operating efficiency.DE engaging with cross-functional stakeholders (technical and non-technical teams) to consult on multi-faceted marketing and product initiatives to ensure alignment on the vision of near and long-term needs; and collaborating with business partners and creating technology executable product roadmaps using MS Visio, DrawIO, MS Project/PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.DE analyzing requests from internal and external customers to determine functional intent, technical scope, and potential dependencies, and translating them into executable business requirements; and documenting rules and business logic in a content management or business rules engine (SDL Tridion, Oracle BI, Informatica, and TOAD) to ensure proper audience segmentation.DE maintaining product and sprint backlogs and refining epics and stories in an Agile environment using JIRA, Confluence, and Mural; and participating in Scrum ceremonies - daily huddles, spring reviews, quarterly planning, and retrospectives.
