　　We are looking for a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to provide hands-on technical expertise and people leadership to lead application integration and development for card management products at Marqeta. This leader will be responsible for forming a new team with expertise in Salesforce application development, data integrations and creating holistic agent facing experiences.

　　What You’ll Do

　　Partner with product teams to define Marqeta’s strategy for integrating 1st and 3rd party card management applications into a single ecosystem. Oversee and drive the technical approach for Salesforce Service Cloud development. Provide technical leadership for creating an integration platform between multiple 3rd party and 1st party applications. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, establishing and promoting best practices. Bring new ideas, designs and tools to the table, and drive technical discussions and decision-making. Raise the skill sets of those around you and make Marqeta better through your presence. Mentor other engineers on the team, drawing on your experience to provide thoughtful direction. Initiate conversations around goal setting and give regular feedback and coaching to your team members. Ensure delivery of high-quality software by employing effective code reviews, automated testing strategies and high availability deployment strategies. What We’re Looking For  

　　12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.  5+ years of people management experience. Experience working with cross teams across geographic boundaries and time zones. Demonstrated passion for software engineering excellence including design principles, metrics, scalability, cost, security & privacy considerations and test driven development. Excellent collaboration, communication and leadership skills. Can effectively lead a project and work cross-functionally with other organizations. Experience partnering with product teams to ideate and bring innovative solutions to market. Experience in developing Salesforce Service Cloud applications serving thousands of users including CDC, platform events, web portals, lightning and force.com. Experience in data integrations using pub/sub technologies such as Kafka, Snowflake and building data pipelines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. Expertise in creating a metrics oriented approach to software development including driving key operational metrics, full service ownership and continuous improvement. Nice-To-Haves

　　Experience with authentication solutions such as Auth0. Exposure to a modern Java backend stack using Spring Boot, Kubernetes on AWS.
