Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? As a Sr. Manager of the Insured Solutions Platform, you will play a key leadership role as the platform and business manager, for the comprehensive insurance and annuities platform. This includes representing RBC Wealth Management as one of the Designated Responsible Licensed Professionals and willingness to obtain necessary licenses to do so. You will have a pivotal role in executing the strategic vision, growth of the business and managing the product set and related platform. This includes overseeing the vast in-force book of business along with managing the risk and regulatory aspects of the business. You will be responsible for overseeing the insurance and annuity provider platform and working closely with their relationship managers to hit growth targets and manage the existing book of business. As a member of the Senior Leadership team, you will work with other leaders and your distribution partners to promote the platform and drive growth. You will work closely with your business partners to ensure the platform is effective, positioned for growth and compliant. This includes Operations, Licensing, Technology, Marketing, Communications, Risk, Supervision and Compliance. Manage and supervise your team. Represent RBC Wealth Management with the industry and benchmark for competitiveness. Work closely with the Head of the Wealth Planning and Insured Solutions to develop and execute business strategies, grow the business, manage risk and aligned with organizational goals. Drive initiatives to enhance market competitiveness and foster long-term sustainability. Provide strategic direction for operational efficiency, process improvement and technology advancement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and enhance productivity. Implement best practices to streamline internal processes and enhance overall business performance. Articulate platform vision, define scope, and provide direction for teams to deliver product, platform improvements and technologies to provide a best in class experience at RBCWM-U.S. Collaborate with client-facing teams and distribution partners to grow the business to annual goals. Identify opportunities to improve client experience and drive client-centric initiatives. Work with Stakeholders to gain alignment and improve the overall platform. Implement cost-effective measures and revenue-generating strategies. Able to Travel as Needed: 25%+ What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 10+ years of related experience Series 7 and 66 licenses, insurance license and DRLP eligibility Excellent oral and written communication skills including advanced presentation skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to provide support as a subject-matter expert Experience working with internal or external product development and distribution teams Experience in product management/development, strategy and/or related position in a consumer-oriented, technology-dependent environment in financial services or related industries.
