What you'll do:
This position supports the activities of the Eaton Financial Accounting Group in the EMEA region that leads corporate financial accounting, compliance and governance throughout EMEA."Oversees the US GAAP monthly closing activities for a given number of ledgers.Ensures that all financial reporting for Group, statutory and fiscal accounts for Swiss and Mauritius legal entities are prepared timely, efficiently and accurately in compliance with US and local GAAP, corporate policies, legal and fiscal regulations and within Eaton's framework of norms and business philosophy;Prepares and submits quarterly and annual statistical reports for all Swiss legal entities subject to such reporting.Coordinates intercompany recharges for the EMEA region, ensuring invoicing accuracy and timeliness by working in close collaboration with the transfer pricing, supply chain, IT and treasury departments as well as global financial accounting and the shared service centers;Supports the EMEA Financial Accounting team in regionalization of financial and compliance processes such as accounts analysis, SOX coordination, training and balance sheet reviews;Assists with accounting training, advice and assistance to other Corporate teams and Operations in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP, Corporate Policy, internal control, auditing, tax and treasury requirements;Participates in the deployment of EMEA Compliance Framework and other Financial Accounting initiatives in dedicated countries;Performs compliance monitoring and operates various tools developed by the EMEA Financial Accounting Group with continuous focus on process efficiency;Provides expertise for ad hoc projects related to EMEA Financial accounting;Ensures ethical standards are maintained and provides guidance, training and education of accounting professionals as required.
Qualifications:
University degree in finance/accounting (bachelor/master)At least 3 years in finance related jobsAccounting:Swiss Gaap/US Gaap, comfortable with dealing with complex and diversified structureCommunication / Problem solving mindset
