Finance Process Excellence & Capability building (Claims, Pricing BMI Activity E2E)Ensure FET process are operating effectively and efficiently.Drive continuous improvement with emphasis on information management, process simplification and automation in UEMCL where possible using right tools/enablers.The role needs to actively coordinate with the appropriate Unilever stakeholders, to ensure an integrated end-to-end efficient and effective process.Support integration and analysis of new business opportunities and growth projects.Managing capability enabler projects - Proof of Concept, Operational Setups, Integration of Systems and Automation.Develop close working relationships with the Global and MCL Finance team and share best practices across the broader MCL finance team.Lead governance and interface with regional team and country teams on FET processes including Customer, price and BMI related masters.Update and submit forecasts of P&L , topline, bottom line every month.Performance management:
Lead the business performance reviews and provide insights to the country leadership team majorly (CEO & CFO) and other senior key stakeholders.Drive and lead the budgeting process and future business plans from Finance and support Head of Finance /NFD.Ensures GIC accounts achieves its business performance goals through providing continuous performance monitoring, steering planning processes, and providing high quality rolling forecasts, includingTimely actual and accurate P&L reporting and analysisTimely and accurate consolidation, delivery and analysis of BU forecastEmbedding Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process jointly with Supply ChainLead improvements & simplification in information flow, reporting and analyticsEnsure good discipline and hygiene in Claims and accruals .Manage month end activities: monthly forecasting, month end review, analysis, drive Insights and actions with focus on: Growth, Efficiency of investments (ROMI), Portfolio Mix, Pricing and Costs.Managing projects - Manage Operational Setups, Integration of Systems and Automation.BMI Cost Control / ManagementManage total impact of OH costs and ensure total budgets.Budget, track, analyse and report BMI cost.Engage with Brand and CD teams to advise correct costs allocation to BMI with Global or GCAD guide line and providing Operating framework and process guidanceBudgetary control and management by working with budget holders to flag overspend and control in each BMI line items.Help in providing input to ZBB and F4G to teams for budget and tracking purpose.Monitor and control Overheads to ensure delivery of own target framework.Governance, risk and controlsEnsure risk management framework in place and operating effectively for key processesEnsure strong process hygiene and controls.Ensure excellent basics embedded in financial processes, and financial records are compliant with the policies, procedures and external/SOX/GFCF controls requirements.Ensure existing and new business models remain tax efficient and align with tax.People Development Development & capability building for both Unilever Direct reportees (3Xwl1) and extended support teams such as BB finance and controller team.Lead change management to raise wider knowledge and skills of business teams where relevantSkills / Experience / Qualifications:
