What you'll do:
As the Senior Director, Executive Communications, you will work collaboratively across multiple functions and groups to build, plan, and execute a strategy that elevates the presence of The Trade Desk at global conferences and industry events by leveraging its senior-level and C-suite executives including the CEO.
In this role, you will:
Build, develop and advance relationships with major global conferences and industry events to secure earned speaking opportunities for senior executives of The Trade Desk.Work with content experts to gather specific information and details required to ensure our executives are prepared to deliver impactful and engaging messages in public and private speaking engagements that focus on the company's priority areas including the open internet, connected TV and retail media.Research and monitor industry trends and relevant topics for use in preparing talking points, presentations, and other communications on specific topics.Build out a senior leadership bench of diverse speakers who can amplify the company's story and key messages.Engage senior executives strategically, and with confidence, especially in executive communications recommendations.Provide strategic counsel for The Trade Desk's overall events strategy.Travel with executive(s) when requested to provide general support, including advance work, meeting preparation, logistics coordination, communication with constituents and staff, as well as follow up to specific requests.Establish KPIs aligned with the executive communications strategy in support of the company's business goals.
Who you are:
15+ years of executive communications, marketing or global thought leadership experienceB2B and brand marketing, a plus.Have a pre-established list of professional relationships to further The Trade Desk's executive communications and marketing strategy.Bachelor's degree in relevant field.Experience working with C-suite and senior business leadership with a track record of synthesizing business priorities.Excellent written and verbal communications, and project management skills.Superior global business acumen and the ability to work autonomously.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is$161,800-$296,600 USD
