What you'll do:
The Senior Director of TTD's Edge Academy will lead the charge to create the gold standard in programmatic education, nurturing the next generation of marketing experts and leaders as more of the global ad market is transacted programmatically. Reporting to the Editor in Chief, this senior marketing leader will guide a multidisciplinary team and oversee the day-to-day goals and growth of the Edge Academy. The ideal candidate is experienced in scaling a business education program; skilled in helping learners grasp programmatic concepts; and passionate about shaping the future of advertising, technology, and the internet.
This leader will work closely with TTD executives (including the C-suite) and other subject matter experts to develop new courses and revamp old ones. They will partner with TTD's greater marketing organization and cultivate go-to vendors to execute and syndicate content with agility. Experience in media buying, programmatic trading, client services, marketing, and/or global content strategy is welcome. Duties include:
Set a corporate education strategy for the company that builds on our foundation as a programmatic thought leader for the industry.Conceive and develop Edge Academy content that educates the industry on the value of data-driven advertising, ranging from short-form content to certifications.Create a community of lifelong learners, from students to CMOs.Strike strategic partnerships for content syndication.Align Edge offerings to business goals and support client development. Develop and lead robust go-to-market approach for Edge Academy, driving awareness, adoption, and partnerships with clients and industry pros.Work closely with marketing, social, and other teams to plan integrated campaigns to maximize content reach and engagement across audiences.Oversee data and measurement strategy to constantly iterate work based on needs and performance.
Who you are:
We are looking for a strategic thinker and experienced thought leadership expert with 15+ years of experience in a combination of Corporate Education, Content Strategy, Content Marketing, Industry Research/Analytics/Reporting, PR/Journalism, and Stakeholder Engagement Planning. Strong knowledge/understanding of how brands and agencies operate, and of programmatic advertising. Proven experience planning, executing, and amplifying educational content across different audiences to drive response and engagement. Proven ability to run successful go-to-market campaigns, including internal and external communication strategies. Broad geographic experience across NA, APAC, EMEA and/or working across global teams and markets, a plus. Highly collaborative and able to work in a fast growth, entrepreneurial environment. Mix of left/ right brain-able to analyze business needs and drive creative solutions based on that intelligence. Substantial experience managing and developing teams. BA/BS required.

Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)
At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$133,700 -$245,100
In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
