THE WORK
Interacts with customers prior to and/or after sale. Develops and maintains positive customer relations; coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, either from a financial standpoint or product standpoint. Focus of work can be in pre-sale or post-sale or both. Pre?sale: Responds to customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules; influences production and shipping schedules; recommends price changes based on company/customer relationship; recognizes new business opportunities. Post?sale: Resolves production scheduling and shipping or invoicing problems; determines validity of warranty claims, changes production and shipping schedules; and recognizes add-on business opportunities.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Quote files based on customer requirements and deadlines to solicit sales. Follow-up on
quotations to pursue sales and obtain competitive information. Negotiate pricing as necessary. (Customer)
• Proactively manage all correspondence to customers regarding ship status, stock availability, proof of interchangeability, etc. and expedite inquires and problem solve. (Customer)
• Review and or obtain appropriate export information to ensure compliance with federal regulations. (Customer)
• Responsible for meeting with International customers (at customer’s facility and at Derco)
including travel; coordinates and participates in customer visits, presentations, tours, and airshows. (Customer)
• Manage International Sales Representatives by engaging with them for all opportunities in their perspective regions and help ensure they are compliant with the terms of their agreement. Support Agreement Monitors as needed. (People)
• Collaboratively working with Customer Service, BD Capture, BD strategic accounts, BD
OEM and Supply Chain to provide a coordinated effort toward strategic accounts. (People)
• Responsible for Orders, Sales, Margin and providing regular updates on progress to plan
for a specific region. (Growth / Financial)
• Execute the strategies defined for a specific region to obtain market share through daily
quoting and developing customer relationships. (Growth)
• Implement sales initiatives through targeted campaigns to push inventory and OEM product
lines. (Growth)

Basic Qualifications:
• 1.5 + years supporting sales requirements
• 1.5 + years’ experience in direct or outside sale
Desired Skills:
• 4-year degree
• Ability to work independently with only general direction
• Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Excel experience to include Macros, V-Lookup, formulas, graph creation, pivot tables

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
