THE ROLE: The Sr. CI Specialist will be responsible for working for an outstanding global company with an amazing culture lead by leaders who reflect the highest values. Key to this role is driving a CI Lean culture. The majority of the focus is on transactional processes. Person is accountable for providing strong support to leadership define and achieve their CI priorities relative to the strategic direction, Goal Deploying/X matrix, priorities, and overarching metrics in a business unit. This position coaches, trains, and facilitates driving a CI Lean culture along with business results. This position leads cross-functional projects analyzing workflows that improve flow, remove waste, and achieve the principles of operational excellence overall based on lead principles. This person interfaces with other department leaders, managers, and staff to systematically identify improvement opportunities and spread best practices. This position is also responsible for supporting the overall direction of CI as set by CI leadership.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Strong skills through experience and passion for driving lean in transactional processes.
Facilitates lean design developing value stream (VS) maps, VS metrics, and kaizens to achieve the future state. The focus on driving a lean design for optimal flow is key.
Simplifies project planning ensuring objectives are achieved at a healthy pace of change.
Trains managers in CI Lean, leader standard work, daily metrics and leading indicators.
Possesses experience and ability to observe and drive change with all levels of the organization over zoom/Teams.
Leads cross-functional, complex projects designed to analyze and design sequence of operations and workflows to improve operations.
Facilitates the development of sequenced action steps to achieve departments’ improvement opportunities.
Drives daily change creating and supported Tiered Metrics and huddles.
Essential to be supportive of facilitating kaizen events, virtual and in-person.
Essential is ability to coach senior leaders in driving a lean culture.
Skilled both in the creation/development of PERRT diagrams and basic project planning and in a way where change is solidly, effectively, and timely orchestrated.
Strong skills in leading, coaching, teaching and instilling 8-step problem solving.
Skilled in spreading of best ideas to expedite improvements, their impact and to build a culture of sharing and spreading of best practices.
Be a change agent: challenge organizational leaders to drive continuous improvements; remove organizational barriers to continuous improvement processes.
Strong skills in Partner and work closely with customer facing teams and business functions (HR, Finance, Customer Support, Product Management, Engineering, Product Development).
Experience delivering tangible productivity results via transactional excellence projects.
QUALIFICATIONS :
BS/BA Degree or Equivalent.
Masters preferred.
5+ years of experience implementing CI Lean principles.
5+ years of experience leading or facilitating CI Lean principles workshops.
3+ years of experience leading teams through implementing process improvements and standardized processes
Strong at identifying and driving hard revenue increases and hard cost reductions.
Can lead VSM 2-3 day events and drive follow on action.
Strong at leading kaizen events both virtually and in person in production and transactional processes.
Strong understanding of visual management and deploying same.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiarity with databases for querying and analyzing.
Demonstrated successful project management experience and acumen.
Comfortable with ambiguity.
Demonstrated experience with ensuring effective Change Management execution.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

SALARY:
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $115,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
