Be a part of an interactive team with broad exposure and scope within Humana. Humana is seeking a positive and proactive individual to contribute to a high performing team that helps translate the clinical into financial to ensure Humana profitability.
This individual will support our drug pipeline forecasting team, working directly with financial analysts and clinical pharmacy leads as we inform Humana on the impact of new drug launches. This individual will focus on the pharmaceutical pipeline agents most likely to have impact on Humana's Medicaid membership.
Responsibilities
Contributes to our pipeline drug process, monitoring drugs in development and new drug approvals, as well as modeling financial impact of emerging therapeutics, with a Medicaid focusResearches and analyzes drugs and emerging therapeutics, including financial forecasts on the web and works with analysts to inform an internal financial forecast for the companyContinuously monitors relevant publicly available news/developments in the pharmaceutical sector, performing any ad hoc analyses and generating insightsContribute to corporate communications of high quality to be shared with senior leadership such as pipeline updates and market event notificationsPartners with pharmacists, data scientists, financial analysts in a team environmentContributes to Humana formulary strategy as it relates to pipeline productsContributes to the creation of pipeline communications to be shared at varying levels within the company, such as, presentations, emails, weekly/monthly pipeline updates and executive summaries.

Qualifications
Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD or RPh) from an accredited School of PharmacyActive, unrestricted pharmacy licensure

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$112,400 - $154,900 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
