The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer-Procurement Center for Enablement ("C4E") solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer work assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
This position reports to the Director of the Procurement C4E. The C4E team leads the development, support, and enablement of key business intelligence capabilities for Finance and Procurement, leveraging industry leading BI tools and technologies, enabling key business partners in making decisions around business performance. The Procurement C4E team sits within the Enterprise Procurement and Supplier Management business area, in the Finance Shared Service (FSS) organization.
As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will work directly with business partners to automate reporting and business processes utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform components. You will be responsible for collecting functional business requirements, extracting & curating data, modeling, measure creation, UX design and production deployment of BI applications serving Procurement, Finance and the enterprise.
Senior Business Intelligence Engineer Responsibilities
Leads the execution of the Procurement C4E Analytics strategy from design, plan, technical development, deployment, change management and adoption, maintenance, and improvements.Develops the Analytics long-term roadmap and strategy with Director of Procurement C4EInforms, influences, and advises stakeholders and leadership regarding procurement analytics and insightsEvaluates external benchmarks and systems to identify areas for Humana comparison and adoptionCollaborates with category managers, leadership and BPO to develop specific application needs for new insights, such as Marketing Rates, AP Analytics, and Fieldglass Analytics appsRepresents and brings expertise on behalf of the Procurement department to segment stakeholders and leaders with minimal directionAdvises procurement leadership on opportunities for process improvement and enhanced customer experience and provides insights based on independent analysisOperates with independent judgment with respective to paths forward and complex issues with minimal directionSupports Supplier Management Leadership Team and Chief Procurement Officer with preparing and organizing monthly leadership and Town Hall presentations

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience4 or more years of technical experience in data reporting2 or more years of project leadership experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboardsProficient in SQLExperience with tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft PowerBi for creating data visualizationsExperience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare dataProficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadershipStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesHome/Office Hybrid workstyle with locations for offices based in Louisville KY, DC Metro, Boston, or NYC. Remote workstyle is an option for candidates who are willing to work Eastern Time Zone business hours and be willing to travel up to 10% of the time, including once a month

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$93,000 - $128,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
