　　If you live within a commutable distance to Torrance CA, you will have the flexibility to work remotely, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Oversees the receipt and review of all encounter data for professional and facility charges to ensure the accuracy of all coding and insurance information Reviewing Coding/Bundling rejections provide feedback and trends on what can be done on the front end to avoid rejection based off insurance payer guidelines Subject matter expert in activities related to process improvement initiatives Assists in team member training Troubleshoots escalated claims and payor issues by communicating with Supervisor Support of billing team members and provides suggestions for improvement. Serves as a resource of knowledge and guidance Meets productivity standards Performs routine audits Leads the identification and tracking of trends, reports major issues and potential threats/opportunities to leadership Establishes a positive culture. Emphasizes shared responsibility for managing outcomes by setting goals and establishing an approach of continuous improvement Conforms to all HIPAA laws and patient confidentiality requirements Protects and safeguards company and patient information Understands and complies with all policies and procedures in the Company Handbook Completes other job-related tasks as assigned Maintains a high standard of professional conduct at all times

　　Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　3+ years medical billing experience Third-party billing experience (MCR, MCL, PPO, WC) Experience with CPT/ICD10 coding Working knowledge of contracted insurance plans and billing guidelines Extensive knowledge of professional billing, guidelines and laws Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. Ability to work a hybrid role (remote and 1-2 days in our Torrance office) Ability to work Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm PST

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　2+ years of medical billing lead experience IDX experience Nextgen experience Bilingual

　　California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $18.80 to $36.78 per hour.
