ROLE SUMMARY
Pfizer's Global Information Security (GIS) organization delivers proactive cyber defense for the global enterprise. Strong authentication and authorization controls are vital to the security and operational resilience of Pfizer. Directory and Authentication owns and operates services that ensure people can gain access to what they need in a secure manner. IAM manages the lifecycle of corporate identities, authentication services, digital credential services, and access review services with a variety of commercial, custom, and open-source solutions.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise and good communication skills to drive effective external identity practices.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
External Identity Senior Associate: Maintain and help optimize Pfizer's global customer identity and access management (CIAM) solutions which includes troubleshooting access issues and monitoring the environment. This role will also participate in SOX and business audits related to External Identity procedures and processes.
Automation: Help drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Pfizer's External Identity environments.
Policy and Procedure Development: Help maintain External Identity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Risk Management: Respond to security incidents related to compromise and help investigate to determine root causes and remediation actions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.3+ years of experience working with Exostar and Auth0 in organizations with greater than 50,000 users.Able to work under general supervision using own judgment where needed.Able to make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems.Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to write and verbally articulate industry terminology to interact at a technical and managerial levels.
