The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted adviser to the business to help guide decision-making through business partner support and innovative and informative analyses. This Senior Analyst will support the Customer Success Group (CSG) by applying creative analytical problem solving skills to transform financial data into thoughtful insights and recommendations that drive our customer success strategy. The candidate will have the opportunity to make significant impact through ownership of large scale data, tracking critical metrics, building scalable reporting frameworks and dashboards, ad hoc performance analysis, and packaging findings into leadership level insights and story points. The role requires interaction and partnership with various areas of the organization. The successful candidate will be confident working in a dynamic, data-driven environment and demonstrate a natural curiosity when "digging" into the numbers.
Responsibilities
Become an expert on the underlying data architecture supporting CSG and use it to report on business performanceBuild and maintain datasets that serve as the single source of truthDesign, build and maintain dashboards in Tableau to automate reporting, track critical metrics, and monitor business performanceWork with large data sets to identify trends or issues and turn them into actionable insights, allowing business leaders to better understand and manage critical metricsContinuously improve the quality and accessibility of our dataSupport the development of comprehensive go-to-market insights (new frameworks to measure and track business performance)
Required Skills / Experience
BA/BS degree or equivalent and minimum of 3+ years related experience in Analytics, Finance, Business Operation or Management ConsultingIntermediate to advanced experience with SQL scripting and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) to turn data into insightsAbility to independently synthesize sophisticated data into simple consumable deliverables with clear takeawaysCore foundational FP&A experience: accounting, planning, forecasting, variance analysisStrong teamwork, collaboration, communication, reporting, and presentations skills.Knowledge of basic programming in python or R highly desiredKnowledge or background with CRM or SaaS business model preferred
