Senior Accountant
Lob is seeking an energetic and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, performing financial analysis, preparing schedules for the annual audit, helping to develop and implement processes and procedures, and assisting with special projects. We are in search of a talented and motivated individual who is excited by the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects within the accounting department and excels in working in a fast paced environment. As the Senior Accountant, you’ll…
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare journal entries including accruals Analyze and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies Assist with flux analysis of general ledger accounts Record cash transactions and prepare bank reconciliations Process and monitor fixed asset acquisitions and disposals Process and monitor prepaid expenses including additions and amortization Assist with development of various accounting processes/process documentation Assist with the preparation and review of prepared by client (PBC) schedules during the annual audit Support Lob’s Accounts Payable Team with setting up new vendors Assist with ad-hoc projects assigned by Accounting Manager or Controller What will you bring to this role…
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 3 to 7 years of progressive corporate accounting and/or public audit experience Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Strong background working with general ledgers Microsoft Excel proficient (V-lookups, Sum-ifs, Pivot Tables, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Great team-player with a positive attitude with a strong propensity for initiative, resourcefullness, and flexibility in response to shifting priorities Excellent communication skills as frequent interaction with both internal and external stakeholders will be required West Coast or Mountain time zones preferred At Lob, we are looking to #LevelUp and #EmpowerDiversity, we invite you to apply if you possess even some of these:

The compensation for this position is structured to include Restricted Stock Units in addition to Base Salary

US Tier
Base Range: $97,500.00- $112,500.00
