As a Customer Support Tax Expert, you will provide tax support andadvice over video, phone, and chat, helping customers work on returnsthrough designated software. You are not preparing or filing returnsdirectly. You'll be able to leverage your knowledge and skills toensure an excellent customer experience using your expertise in taxpreparation, technology troubleshooting, and resolving tax issues.

Provide individualized troubleshooting, tax advice, and preparationassistance through video-enabled software and chat support byutilizing defined practices, procedures, and company policiesDeliver accurate tax advice to customers in easy-to-understand termsby utili ing recommended research materials, professional resources,and team supportAssist customers in gathering, organizing, and entering data throughthe designated software platform for federal and state tax returnsAnalyze and research a variety of tax matters to determine anappropriate course of action for customersReview Customer Callback and Tax Accuracy lists and scheduleapplicable return calls to provide additional clarification andsupport as neededThe successful candidate will have:
Minimum of two (2) seasons of tax preparation experience, with aminimum of 30 tax returns prepared each yearPTIN is required (can be obtained online) and one of the followingcredentials: EA, CPA or JDPrior tax preparation experience in a tax practice or retail settingCollege degree a plus, but not requiredKnowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with the form1040 and all schedulesWillingness to utilize audio/visual tools to communicate withcustomersStrong problem solving and research skills, and the ability toquickly use online resources to find answersWell-developed technical troubleshooting skillsThe compensation ran
