Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce CPQ Architect, you will work directly with the project team, as the SME responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the CPQ solutions aligned with Enterprise Architecture strategy and best practices. Your expertise in Salesforce CPQ, combined with a strong understanding of business processes, will play a crucial role in streamlining and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical product architecture and development expertise for Salesforce CPQ implementation projects.
Assess current business processes and pain points, and articulate how Salesforce and CPQ can address those challenges. Support the entire Salesforce CPQ implementation roadmap, from design to deployment, user adoption, and ongoing improvements. Lead and facilitate the process of recommending solutions or improvements, including reviewing options achievable through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology. Design applications that align with long and short-term IT and business strategies and provide integration expertise across the organization. Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of developing integration solutions, from conception to launch and post-launch support.
Develop enterprise-wide application and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements and interfaces. Research and track emerging technologies to develop innovative business solutions and applications. Adapt to changing priorities, address issues promptly and professionally, and manage project timelines effectively. Collaborate with the project team to create complex and business-critical software solutions, adhering to software engineering processes. Establish programming and development standards, procedures, and architectures to promote code reuse and maintainability.
Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent within the organization. Possess a thorough understanding of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in program design, coding, testing, and debugging. Apply current application development methodology attributes and processes consistently. Develop and maintain design plans for technical IT architecture, including distributed application and distributed architecture frameworks. Define and maintain efficient development processes, coding standards, design patterns, testing methodologies, and development tools and procedures.
Ensure seamless integration points and interfaces with other systems through the implementation of next-generation technology. Provide expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams and business application tools and architecture. Collaborate with senior business leaders to understand use cases and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. Offer strategic guidance to IT support teams and provide support for projects requiring technology integration. Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to IT leadership on their validity and potential benefits.
Lead the development of Salesforce technical architecture, architecture processes, frameworks, and best practices. Oversee the technology integration function to ensure technical alignment across various business applications. Support the design and approval of integrations between Salesforce and other systems, whether cloud-hosted or ADT-hosted.
Education:
Four(4) year degree, advanced degree preferred
Salesforce CPQ Specialist certified Salesforce Platform Developer II certified
Qualifications
5+ years of strong salesforce development experience including Sales cloud, Service cloud. 3+ year's experience on full lifecycle Salesforce CPQ project with strong implementation expertise.
2 years leading design and solutions with Enterprise Architecture for Salesforce implementations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues. Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ capabilities, best practices and limitations and the ability to clearly communicate those to key stakeholders. Experience building flow process software including Lucid Chart, Visio, or another tool. Experience in Service cloud and Field service lightning is preferred.
Please note, although this role is fully remote, it will require availability to travel for in-person meetings once a quarter.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $106,047-$212,095 and is based on experience and qualifications.
Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.
