Overview

Important: This is a full-time, in-office position requiring 5 days per week at our Irving, Dallas office.

How You'll Make an Impact

The Manager, Sales Development will be responsible for leading a team of SDRs tasked with identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for Epsilon’s sales team across a range of advertising, marketing, and media solutions. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales Development, this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about management and sales and thrives on building healthy pipeline, managing processes, and focusing on each team member’s productivity and career development.

This isn’t your first or even your second rodeo. You have a track record leading SDR teams and delivering results in multiple companies selling a broad range of complex solutions and software.

You have a passion for developing people, not only helping them build the skills needed to hit their targets but also helping them grow into our next generation of sales professionals.

You know what SDR management looked like pre-Covid, and can build the appropriate in office environment, processes, and culture to drive results from your team.

You can work equally well with sales and marketing, knowing that your team in the lynch pin that connects the two.

Bonus points if you have previous experience with marketing or advertising products or have made a career out of SDR leadership.

What You’ll Achieve

Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of SDR’s in our Irving office; you will initially be hiring 4 team members and growing the team over time.

Provide clear guidance and support to drive individual and team success across each customer segment.

Motivate individuals and the team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives.

Produce quality pipeline for our sales team with a high conversion rate against lead and business targets.

Develop team members into our next generation of sales professionals.

Partner with Marketing and our Sales partners to create campaigns, drive demand, and deliver new business opportunities.

Analyze and leverage metrics, provide strategic insights to improve team performance and execute initiatives to optimize sales development performance.

Identify best practices for refining the company’s sales development playbook.

Who You Are

What You’ll Bring With You:

8+ years in an SDR or relevant sales management role.

Proven / referenceable experience achieving sales targets and developing sales professionals.

Demonstrated ability to build a new SDR team from the ground up.

Experience in this role with companies selling multiple, complex technology products.

Experience with companies selling into the office of the CMO.

You are detail orientated and bring a metrics driven mindset when it comes to managing all aspects of the lead funnel.

You constantly test assumptions, troubleshoot issues, and experiment with new approaches to improve team productivity.

You know how to manage in a highly dynamic environment where team members are moving up or out.

You are equally comfortable managing team members in the early stages of their career and those that bring more experience to the table.

You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and build trusted relationships (internally and externally).

You know how to foster a competitive but also collaborative environment.

You are a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Why You Might Stand Out From Other Talent:

8+ years proven / referenceable experience in multiple lead generation or sales leadership roles where you drove outsized results.

Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.

Ability to attract and retain top talent.

Knowledge of CRM systems, sales engagement platforms (Outeach.io, etc) and other tools that drive SDR productivity and data visibility across customer segments.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
