Rate of pay per hour: $17.30 per hour for experienced Room Attendant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completely clean and maintain hotel guest rooms and public areas within the hotel, including but not limited to:a. properly make bedsb. clean bathroomsc. replenish all paper itemsd. replace soiled linens with clean linense. clean glass and mirrors, dust and polish furniture and equipmentf. replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies and bathroom suppliesg. replace burned out light bulbsh. empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areasi. clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies, using a vacuum cleanerOperate, stock and maintain room attendant cart to carry linens, towels, toiletry items and cleaning suppliesPerform deep cleaning as instructed by supervisorMaintain cleanliness and organization in all work areasUphold departmental standards of quality/timingObserve precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, report damage, theft and found articles to supervisorFollow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions to supervisorPerforms any other job-elated duties as assigned.
