Diageo is currently recruiting for an Analyst, Revenue Growth Management (RGM) – Diageo Beer Company (“DBC”) to be based in NYC.
The RGM Analyst will report to the DBC Sr. Mgr and will support various RGM initiatives through data analytics and providing recommendations.
Scope of Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a successful professional to join and support a dynamic team that will lead:
Bringing data analytics experience to identify revenue growth opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and provide recommendations to improve profitability.Analyzing large datasets to extract insights on current market trends, competitive shifts in strategy, and revenue drivers.Working closely with FP&A on setting pricing forecast and monitoring target versus actuals by market.Partnering with Commercial Finance on business performance & assessing financial Key Performance IndicatorsMeasuring and evaluating price promotions and identifying optimal investment opportunities.Work with internal teams to help develop and implement models to optimize price and promotion strategies and generate actionable insights.Lead offshore Shared Services teams on new / existing product setup and other projects as they arise.Maintaining data integrity across multiple systems (Excel files, VIP, Anaplan, PBI, CPD)
Price model administration - maintain frontline price changes, support promo calendar, suggested price models and local pricing data.Ensure data across systems is complete and accurate.Helping drive division-wide initiatives to standardize and streamline processes.Delivering NRM value through price and mix to drive value market share.Crafting data-based selling tools for the Revenue Growth Management field teamsRunning trade actualization process.Performing Ad-hoc analyses, create reports to support decision making
About The Role
This is a critical role that collaborates across RGM, shared services, sales, and finance to support market Business Partners in implementing the RGM agenda across the United States.Helps determine which areas present the largest opportunities for the RGM team and the ability to implement.Determines process gaps related to pricing and trade spend, while actively working to correct.
Qualifications and Experience Required
1+ years business experienceUndergraduate degree (BA/BS) required.Pro-active work style - strong sense of personal ownership and ability to get things done with strong desire to learn and make a difference.Ability to independently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and able to work well under pressure.Very strong attention to detail & accuracyProblem-solving – ability to think through issues and find practical solutions.Excellent communication skills – ability to work with multiple partners within NRM, Finance, Sales, and Shared services.Strong track record in analytic or commercial sales/finance roles, commercial acumen is key.Excellent Excel skills, with mastery of pivot tables and advanced formulas.
