About This Role
As our Renewals Specialist you will own the customer renewals process of our Client Success team. In this role you will partner with leaders and individual contributors within the Success org and across the business to ensure our post-sales programs and experiences support Monetate’s mission of building customers for life. We are looking for an experienced professional with proven experience. This person will report to the CCO.

What You’ll Do
Partner with Customer Success/Post-Sales teams to initiate renewal discussions in advance of expiration dates.
Develop repeatable strategies to address customer questions, concerns, and objections.
Negotiate renewal terms, pricing adjustments, and contract extensions and achieve securing price increase targets as outlined in the annual operating plan.
Work with the legal, finance, and product teams to ensure renewal contract compliance and Price/SKU alignment.
Collaborate with the customer success team to develop and execute a comprehensive customer retention strategy.
Monitor and track upcoming subscription renewals and contract expiration dates and partner with CSMs to develop a 'best guess' forecast for all accounts.
Develop and maintain modeling to calculate best-case/worst-case forecasts for all customer accounts.
Identify and proactively escalate at-risk customers to Customer Success.
Generate and analyze reports on renewal rates, churn rates, and revenue projections. Analyze renewal actuals to identify new factors to incorporate into the forecast model.
Develop standards for qualifying opportunities to upsell additional products, features, or services into existing customers and increase ARR for existing agreements.
Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) systems and renewal management tools to streamline and track renewal activities and forecasting.
Develop and maintain renewal program documentation.
What You’ll Need
3+ years of experience in Renewals.
3+ years of experience with CRM and renewal management software (SFDC, NetSuite, Planhat, FinancialForce).
Understanding of customer retention and renewal best practices
Communication and Negotiation experience
3+ years of Data Analysis
SaaS industry understanding
Salesforce/CPQ/Reporting experience
Office 365 experience
