Description:
This role is responsible for complex and multifunctional areas of accounting, maintaining proper accounting and financial control through reconciliations and analytical analysis related to assigned functional areas
Actively participate and ensure timely and accurate financial statement reporting for Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), tax and other regulatory reporting
Conduct independent accounting-based research and complex analytical projects
Supports internal and external audits and its subsidiaries
Develop and maintain working relationships with operational departments and external vendors
May supervise accounting staff
Supports the budget process
Participates in and implements monthly financial close, prepare and supervises the assignments of the staff accountants to include general ledger, construction-in-process (CIP), fixed assets and leases
Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly management financial reporting package, regulatory reporting and/or executive summary schedules
Qualifications:
BA in Accounting or Finance (firm requirement) -Minimum 6+ years of direct relevant experience at analyst level
-12 years min total financial experience
Must come from experience in a consulting firm
Experience in tableau and power BI
Relational and multidimensional databases
Experience writing business cases
