About the Role
Uber Eats is looking to grow the Regional Merchant Operations team in the EMEA HQ in Amsterdam. The mission of the Operations team is simple: make Uber Eats the preferred delivery platform for merchants, couriers and customers in the 13 EMEA markets where we operate.
Within Merchant Operations, you will be working in Account Management (AM) Operations & Partnerships, which aims to deliver operational efficiencies across all EMEA markets and a best-in-class merchant experience.
In this role, you will own and optimize a range of processes to enable Account Managers (AMs) to be effective and efficient.
What the Candidate Will Do
Develop a deep understanding of the fundamental role Account Managers play within Uber in order to identify the key opportunity areas for scale impact and define a region-wide performance and support strategy.Identify and evaluate the gaps and struggles within Account Management enablement that can be solved by operations by building stellar centralized processes and tools with streamlined user experiences.Manager the outsourced Analytical team as the dedicated Regional POC and optimise central working models and support touch points to ensure end users are set up for success and maximum impact.Champion data governance and consistency, using existing source of truth frameworks. Apply data-driven decision making to understand and quantify the performance of initiatives, to ensure you are effectively prioritizing those with the highest return on investment.Earn credibility and partner effectively with a diverse group of collaborators; within EMEA (Local Ops, Local AMs, Regional Merchant Operations) and around the world (Product, Engineering and Data Science) ensuring projects continue moving to completion within tight deadlines.

A Bachelor or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.Exceptional data management skills - SQL is a must.Strong partner leadership skills with experience working in diverse, cross-functional and global environments.Excellent project management skills with an ability to set up and manage processes and projects from the ground up.

Comfort with ambiguity. You are unfazed by completing projects where all the information is not always available and priorities can change as more data comes to bear.Proven problem solving skills with an ability to self-serve, investigate, and get the data we require in order to structure the challenges we face into concrete action plans. A self-starter attitude is required!Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.Clear communicator. You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the important points, and disseminate actionable insights.
