Your overall goal is to help participants build "recovery capital," which is essential to help people sustain recovery from mental health and substance use disorders.

This position works closely with a multi-disciplinary team that includes a public defender, a prosecuting attorney, community corrections, probation, a court coordinator, and a judge. A problem-solving court setting allows for fast-paced learning of many different sides of the criminal justice system as well as develop communication skill sets with people from different educational backgrounds and work experiences.
