About R&D Lab Technician II - Chemistry

As a member of our team, as the RD Technician II, you will support our RD Functional Teams, assisting with lab experiments, property testing, calculations, data analysis, record maintenance, and precise data reporting. You will help conceptualize, design, plan, and implement innovative technologies that drive the creation of new and competitive products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform manual and automated sample preparation for elemental analysis.

• Test RD and Technical Service samples on ICP-OES for trace metals and major components.

• Maintain instrument and data quality.

• Actively participate in the safety program.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of laboratory experience

WE VALUE:

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific major.

• Experience with analytical chemistry spectrophotometry techniques such as ICP, UV-VIS, or AA (Atomic Adsorption).

• Experience with wet chemistry techniques like volumetric transfer, titration, or acid digestion (manual or automated).

• Strong scientific writing and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Experience handling hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.

• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to working safely at all times.

The annual base salary range for this position is $52,800 - $66,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
