As a R&D Group Manager for Cloud Automation you will be responsible for enablingthe team and Site Reliability Engineers to automate manual processes and speed up the delivery of infrastructure resources on a self-service basis, according to user or business demand. You will drive the software development lifecycle towards Rapid Deployment (automation in code testing, network diagnostics, data security,software-defined networking(SDN), or version control in DevOps teams).

As a R&D Group Manager for Cloud AutomationLeading a team from line management perspectiveAnalyzing, executing, and streamlining DevSecOps practicesAutomating processes with the right toolsFacilitating development process and operationsEstablishing a suitable DevSecOps channel across the organizationSetting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment processNetwork Architecting overall, comprehensive, and efficient practicesGuiding developers and operation teams in case of an issueMonitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operationsAbility to manage teams with a leadership mindsetWhat you'll needBachelor/master's degree in computer science engineering, Information Science, or equivalentMinimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in Build & Release Management, Deployment Automation Process, CI/CD pipeline for IOT architecturesMinimum of 2 years of work experience as Architect in more than one of the Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Bluemix, Alibaba)Experience on Python, Shell Scripting, Go Lang will be a plus.Experience with AWS Services such as but not limited to CloudFront, EC2 Container Registry, ELB, KMS, Kinesis, Lambda, Redshift, Route 53, SES, EQS, SNS, S3, Glacier, Athena etcKnowledge of one or more tools of the following is an added advantage for this profile: Riemann, OpenTSDB, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, Tensor, StatsD, Jenkins, Phabricator, Vault, Consul.Certification: Should have relevant cloud certifications like AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solution Architect.Have awareness of emerging vulnerabilities, cyber threats and respond quickly to mitigate risks.Maintain and improve processes around regular patching, system hardening, malware controls, encryption etc.Sound knowledge of Amazon Web Services, working with services and configuring for availability and security.Experience with networking both on an individual server as well as virtual configuration in AWS VPCs.Knowledge of Docker for the purposes of running containers in production environments.Sound knowledge of Kubernetes and commonly used tools in the Kubernetes ecosystem, e.g. Helm, Calico, Flannel.Experience building, deploying and supporting infrastructure for web-scale applications.Practitioners of infrastructure-as-code, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD)Experience of tools like terraform, Salt Stack, Packer, JenkinsUtilizes AWS DevOps Tooling or Azure DevOps and Git for Source control and versioningThe candidate should be aware of industry best-practices, have awareness of formal accreditations such as SOC-II, and be able to make recommendations for practices and policies.Experience in a high volume or critical 24x7x365 production service environmentWhat you'll get in return...
