R2P Specialist Escheat and Asset Recovery Lead
This role will be part of the Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) in the procurement pillar. The EBS organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial, compliance, procurement, and enablement solutions to our Operating Companies around the world.
This position reports into R2P Manager and is based in Skillman, New Jersey, United States.

What You Will Do
R2P Specialist Escheat and Asset Recovery Lead will be responsible for ensuring alignment to and compliance with defined Accounts Payable (A/P) operational processes & policies. These alignments include (but are not limited to), Escheat/Unclaimed Property process coordination, compliance reporting support (where applicable), special check handling and processing refund checks.
Key Responsibilities
Manage US Escheatment Process
Manage the Escheat activities, including the supporting research, supplier and Kenvue affiliate communication coordination, and annual compliance reporting to government authorities.
o Escheatment is the process of identifying properties that have been abandoned or unclaimed after a dormancy period (3-5years) specified by state law and remitting the funds to the appropriate state.
Scope includes all unclaimed Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, or other disbursements that have been identified, researched, and finally written off to the escheat liability account.
Manage US Unclaimed Property Recovery Process
This is the flip side of escheatment
Partner with third party vendors to review various state websites to see what is available for Kenvue and process claims to get the refund payment.
Business Partnering and Management of 3rd Parties
Manage service delivery provided by 3rd parties to ensure meeting SLA's, driving continuous improvement, meeting internal compliance and legal/regulatory requirements
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience is required.
Demonstrated proficiency with Procurement & Finance/Accounting processes (Requisitioning, PO, Invoicing, General Ledger) is required.
Demonstrated experience with data analysis is required.
Strong written and oral communication skills with the demonstrated ability to interact with various levels of the organization are required.
Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills are required.
Potential travel to other Kenvue locations within the region up to 5-10% is required
Desired Qualifications
C.P.M./CPSM certification is preferred
1-3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting is preferred.
Demonstrated effectively working remotely with business partners is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills are preferred.
Strong SAP software experience is preferred.
Ariba Buyer software experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience in contributing high performing teams is preferred.
Ideal candidate will preferably have a big-picture orientation and an appreciation to assess impact to the global R2P processes and be able to deliver results within short timeframes.
Preferably be a self-starter with the ability to effectively plan, coordinate, and deliver results with minimal guidance.
