About the Role
This position is within the Quality Department at the Magna Exteriors Group Office. It will involve working closely with the warranty and systems analysts and helping out on special projects commensurate to the skills of the candidate. The student will visit one or more of Magna manufacturing divisions and potentially a vehicle assembly plant as well. They will learn basic quality and lean manufacturing principles.
Your Responsibilities
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems and standards across Magna divisions
• Prepare and present quality reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and help develop strategic plans
• Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to support quality improvement initiatives and best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by the corporate quality manager
Who we are looking for
•Pursuing a bachelors degree in Science, Math or Engineering
Your preferred qualifications
•A prior internship experience preferred
•Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
•Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
