  In this position, the selected candidate will be a Hardware Quality Engineer for the Training and Logistics Support (TLS) market segment Land and Maritime Solutions and Cross-Plant programs.

  The successful candidate will:

  - Be an integral member of multiple Quality Program Teams and responsible for keeping the corresponding Quality Program Managers abreast of the production performance.

  - Monitor and document defects in your areas and create presentations detailing areas for improvement and opportunities for additional training.

  - Attend Operational Excellence Team meetings to present documented defects to drive improvements and reduce defects.

  - Ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

  - Monitor, review, analyze, and report quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.

  - Lead investigations of problems to develop and monitor dispositions and ensure implementation and compliance with corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  - Interface with senior management, manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure the achievement of requirements.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Technical Degree, degree in related field or equivalent experience

  Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a quality role, extensive experience performing Root Cause and Corrective/Preventative Actions, expertise in process failure mode effects analysis, and Process audits and reviews.

  Have knowledge of AS9100D Quality System and pertinent Quality practices.

  Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) and be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.

  An understanding of audit techniques.

  A proven track record of building and sustaining relationships at all levels of social, corporate, and customer hierarchies.

  Proficient in RCA tools and techniques and the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  Desired Skills:

  Previous experience working directly with, or in direct support of Quality Assurance Systems Applications and Products (SAP) experience

  Experience working closely with DCMA, and with performing customer contractual sell-offs including in-depth familiarity with filling out and processing DD1149s, DD1348s, and DD250s.

  Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board)

  Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment

  Knowledge of data analytics / statistics with ability to perform under minimal guidance

  Understanding of Tableau, Pareto Analysis and Statistical Process Control

  Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

  Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

  Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
