  Position Description

  Job Summary

  Saint-Gobain, a global top employer, is looking for a Quality Documentation Control Specialist for their Wayne, NJ Plant.

  This position supports key aspects of the site Management Systems (QMS, EMS), including identification and mitigation of quality risk to the operation, our employees and external Customers. In addition to maintain and sustaining current document and information processes and systems, the incumbent directs focus on projects associated with streamlining, simplifying the legacy QMS documentation, supports digitalizing data/information collection activities and structuring electronic record retention storage and management.

  Ensures effective control of management system documents utilizing currently active software platform.

  Active engagement in projects using creative solutions focused on streamlining and simplifying QMS documentation, digitalizing data collection and recording processes in support of a “paperless” future-state objective

  Coordinates efforts at creating and maintaining electronic record retention methods and practices aligned with the S-G Corporate record retention policy

  Completes assigned projects (individually or by leading a team) regarding new processes, researching and compiling data for review, creating/supporting/executing trainings associated with various QMS topics including during new hire orientation process

  As part of significant projects activities: the incumbent will lead the transition of the following duties to the relevant stakeholders in the organization, supported by process, simplifications, tools initiatives:

  Actively assess customer provided “report cards” and customer specific requirements (CSR) including review of expectation with various functions to ensure understanding, compliance, and appropriate escalations (if required) with support of customer communication of actual or potential conflicts. This includes alignment of this activity with the Customer Service function.

  Provides support for the site Engineering Control (EC) system procedure in an administrative role, with focus on database administration and records retention. This includes alignment of this activity with the site Engineering function

  Required Qualifications

  Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, Engineering Technology, or similar- required

  Exposure, interest in language generative AI- required

  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software platforms, especially Word and Excel- required

  Experience/proficiency in coding programming- preferred

  Written and verbal command of the English language- required

  2 years’ experience in Quality Management Systems documentation and data control- preferred
