<li>Inspect components and finished goods from jobs to ensure that components and packaging meet requirements; Components checks will require dimensional measurement and analysis, Go-No-Go Gage <li>Evaluation, and general review that materials, markings (e.g. date codes) and colors meet specifications; Finished Goods checks to ensure correct package quantities, correct carton configurations and that package labels are legible with correct information.<li>Components and finished goods must also be evaluated per the "Information Sheet" and be free of typical molding defects.<li>Record measurements, test results, and defects per the Quality Program requirements.<li>Assist with monitoring individual job scrap, cycle time efficiency, and notifying production supervisors/shift leaders of issues that may be realized.<li>Clear communication of issues that occurred on the shift to the QC Inspector of the subsequent shift (pass down), and clear communication of required documentation updates to QC Manager.<p>
Education and/or Experience<br>Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, or three to six months related experience.General understanding of Quality Control and the importance of Quality Control in industry.<p>
Training<br>Hands-on training with QC Manager and/or Lead QC Inspector.<p>Language Skills<br>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as needed.<p>
Mathematical Skills <br>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. <p>
Reasoning Ability<br>Ability to solve practical problems and critically think.<p>Physical Demands<li>Standing, walking, sitting, talking/hearing, reaching, use of hands. <li>Close vision; clear vision at 20 inches or less.<li>Color vision; identify and distinguish colors.<li>Depth perception: three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distance and spatial relationships.<li>Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds<p>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
<li>Carefully take measurements and maintain quality records of measurements for components.
<li>Address all defect issues, relay information to quality manager/shift supervisors/processing engineers for corrective action. <li>Ensure that machine operators understand component/finished good requirements and are producing quality parts.
<li>Relay any pertinent information to other inspectors.
