　　Giotto Enterprises consists of seven companies, all here in the greater Utica/Rome area.

　　Fiber Instrument Sales, Inc., the industry leader for fiber optic component manufacturing, has an immediate opportunity for a Purchasing Clerk at its Oriskany, NY location.

　　The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for ordering and purchasing supplies and raw materials, providing administrative support, preparing purchase orders, maintaining inventory and purchase records, scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Purchase and negotiate fiber optic products, cable, raw material and services.Add weights & dims to all catalog product part numbers in system and categorize item groups for reporting purposes.Back up buyer for other Purchasing team members.Qualifications:

　　Associate degree preferred or relevant experience.Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work independently.Strong communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite products.

　　Salary: From $15.00 to $16.00 Per hour

　　IMPORTANT: Wage rate will be commensurate with position, shift worked, experience, education, and required skill level.
