Job Description Your Career
We are looking for a highly motivated, results oriented Public Sector Operations Director to join our organization. The primary focus of this position will be to drive Operational leadership and subject matter expertise to our growing Federal sales organization through contract administration, managing compliance processes and implementing public sector programs and initiatives to ensure we can compliantly sell to the Federal government. The right person for this job has a team player approach, the ability to work across departments with disparate needs, excels at problem solving through critical analysis, and takes initiative to improve processes and inefficiencies.
Your Impact
Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations to understand contract requirements, structure, business terms and identify potential risks and/or opportunities that can affect performance, growth, and strategic positioningResponsible for maintaining reseller & distributor relationships under public sector contracts Responsible for producing monthly & quarterly contract reporting, where necessaryResponsible for ensuring document retention (i.e. contract price files & contract documentation) in accordance with applicable internal and external policiesPartner with internal stakeholders to provide RFP/RFI and proposal guidance where necessary (e.g. supporting go-no go analysis)Collaborate with impacted parties to generate required compliance documents to facilitate deal closureEnsure required approvals, such as discounts and contractual terms, are obtained and clearly documentedEvaluate current processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvementEnsure compliance requirements are met with awarded Federal contracts Ensure that all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelinesLead ad-hoc projects as requiredPromote ethical ways of working through acting as a clear role model and build a shared understanding of why ethics and compliance are important to the business including federal contract and operations complianceHelp identify and raise ethics and compliance risk issues so that the business can take action and ensure that the right controls are in place to mitigate against those risksAssist the business in mitigating identified risksPromote ethical leadership by supporting, encouraging and advising others within the business on ethics and compliance issues that arise, so that they are addressed in a consistent and responsive mannerEncourage employees to speak up about ethics and compliance issues using any means possible, to include talking to their manager, Human Resources, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer or the external hotlineServe as primary liaison between sales organization and IT, Customer Support, Product Management and GCAT in support of all US Public Sector certifications (FedRAMP, IL), their selling motions and compliance activitiesSupport Deals Desk and Orders desk in compliant sales operationsOwn and operate the FedRAMP High customer eligibility process in conjunction with Public Sector Legal OrganizationExecute Foreign Military Finance (FMF) Program, including processing of content calculation certification requests, maintenance of program materials and facilitating annual product calculation refresh with Speedboat finance teamsDrive planning and execution of approved initiatives coming out of the FY23 External Public Sector Capabilities Assessment tagged to CoEProvide Public Sector SME support across key initiatives - pricing strategy, NPI initiatives, SKU design and development, product bundling strategy, etc. Qualifications Your Experience
10+ years of experience (preferably in a tech environment, and in a Sales Operations or Federal Program or Contract Management role)Contract and operations experience - experience managing Federal/Defense contracts Strong program management skills Strong Public Sector RFP management skillsExperience working with Public Sector customers (Fed, State, Local & Education) is critical Advanced skills with MS-Excel are highly recommendedDemonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business unitsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentExperience with data analysis, modeling and/or financial analysisStrong communication skills (verbal and written), as well as problem-solving skillsDemonstrated understanding of compliance activities and posture related to US Federal certifications (FedRAMP, Dept of Defense Information Levels, etc.) Education

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $175,400/yr to $283,800/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
