  Team Overview

  The PMO within the People Team at Moody's is currently in the process of establishing a crucial function that will facilitate the meticulous and successful delivery of strategic initiatives. This continues to foster a great culture, better employee experiences and ultimately elevates the Firm where the most talented people want to come and choose to stay as the employer of choice.

  The ideal candidate for this role should possess an interest, educational background and experience in project management while having collaborative and good interpersonal skills. The candidate will be assigned an important project in which the candidate engages with the People Team's COEs, IT, and other corporate functions to evaluate, recommend, develop, and implement an HR program, processes, and solutions. We will drive strategic advancement and operational excellence within the People Team.

  Overview of Role/Responsibilities:

  Assist the Project Manager in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in a detailed work plan, including resource requirements. Support the Project Manager to continuously monitor and manage risks, actions, issues, and decisions (RAID), escalations, workstream communications, and stakeholder management. Collaborate with matrixed project team members to align and complete project assignments with high-quality outputs.Schedule meetings for projects and deliver meeting summary and status reports to meeting participantsLead a project that will gather analysis to help accelerate the Project Management Office to improve its processes and tools.

  Qualifications:

  Experience in managing and leading multiple school projects.Knowledge of project management concepts and tools such as Excel, MS Project, Smart SheetsEasily able to create presentations and adapt to MS Office tools such as PowerPointExcellent communication skills both written and verbal; comfortable presenting material and participating in discussions in large groups, both in-person and virtual

  For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
